General Description
Genesys GL9970-OLY10 is a low-power DisplayPort linear redriver. It is compliant with the VESA DisplayPort 1.4, embedded DisplayPort 1.4 and supports a 1-4 lane Main Link interface signaling up to HBR3 (8.1Gbps per lane). GL9970-OLY10 provides programmable equalizer, DC gain controller and maximum output swing controller to compensate for the channel loss, and extends the length and enables the systems to conform to DisplayPort compliance. The device optimizes performance when the high speed signals travel across PCB and cables, signal integrity degrades due to loss and inter-symbol interference. For programmable performance, GL9970 provides pin strapping or I2C modes.
GL9970 offers single supply voltage 3.3V with ultra-low power consumption. Each lane operates independently. The advanced power management of GL9970 can consume ultra-low power when the channel is idle for a longer time.
